As far as beautiful classic cars go, there are lots of them to pick from, though most stop well short of the mark left by the Citroen DS. Even in its basic sedan shape, the DS turned heads and still does today, so you can imagine just what a neck twister this 1968 DS Decapotable by Chapron will be regardless of where you drive it.
The car has been passionately restored to its original glory and is for all intents and purposes spotless, according to the seller. Up to 500 hours of labor were invested in bringing it to the current state.
One of only 95 ever created, these partly hand-built machines are now worth a lot, and their value can only go up, since they subscribe to all the rules of appreciating classics. If you have €155,000 or ~$210,000 to spend, do consider it; it’s available for viewing at VSOC (Very Superior Old Cars), in the Netherlands.
