You know those stories of “careful lady owners,” well; this is one of those stories. The main character is a 1955 Ford Thunderbird that used to be red but now is a dull, matte uneven pink from having stayed in garage storage for a quarter-century.

The car seems to have been cared for extensively, despite being the every-day ride of the unknown lady for decades, before it was put away. Aside from the shabby finish and some paint bubbling, it is, as the Craigslist seller says, “a perfect candidate for an easy restoration.”

However, while that may be true, since this car really has all the original bits still on it (or accounted for), if it gets extra-special care and attention it could be turned into a concourse car to leave judges speechless.

For what it is, it is a bit expensive, since you can get a shiny runner for about the same $20,000 asking price. This car, though, promises complete and utter originality, so whoever values that will find meaning in this car’s sales ad.
