When we say “backed over”, we mean it in the most literal sense; a truck driver captured on a security camera on Tuesday, in Russia, was backing up on the sidewalk without having someone on the outside to help him out, when a pedestrian, who was walking with her (?) head facing down, possibly texting or reading on a cell-phone, was approaching from behind.
The truck knocked the young person down and ran over her/him, but amazingly, she/he crawled out from under the vehicle and simply walked away!
We don’t need to tell you what would have happened next if something like this occurred on this side of the Atlantic…
