A new Mercedes C 63 AMG of the Coupe variety is still about a year or so away, but that hasn’t stopped amateur designer Remco Meulendijk from creating a rendering of what the car could look like.
Drawing inspiration from the C-Class W205 sedan and recent AMG variants for other Mercedes-Benz models, the rendering shows a conservative (in a good way) coupe that also adheres to Mercedes’ recent design philosophy.
While the end result isn’t nearly as stunning as the S 63 or the recently-unveiled S 65 AMG Coupe, it features a sportier front bumper, a ventilated rear bumper that engulfs four rectangular exhaust tips and high-performances brakes which are hidden behind black alloy wheels.
Now, if the future model actually turns out looking even remotely similar to these two renderings from RM, it is highly probable that cars like the BMW M4, Audi RS5, Lexus RC-F and even the upcoming Cadillac ATS-V Coupe are to be extremely worried.
Just like its sedan brother, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe (C205) will use a twin-turbocharged four-liter V8 that is expected to deliver 476 hp in “normal” guise and 510 hp in the S-Model variant. Being a coupe, you should also expect a more hardcore Black Series version later on as well.
