The absence of marked bicycle lanes on the road can cause problems for both cyclists and motorists, but that doesn’t mean drivers should act like tailgating fools.
Illinois bicyclist Kevin Selagea (…we could have sworn that was Ray Romano speaking in the video) was travelling on the right lane of the road in Skokie when the driver of an older CR-V came too close for comfort.
“Some guy in a Honda CRV thought that it was ok to tailgate me, on my bicycle, while I was doing a sprint down the street,” said Selagea. “But luckily a cop saw him tailgating me, because I didn’t see the tailgater until I turned around to look for the cop. Making me really pissed because the guy was pretty much skimming my rear tire at 30mph!!”
As you’ll see for yourself in the video that follows, the cop was preeetty kool.
So, what do you think, was justice served in this instance?
