So, you think a stock McLaren P1 with its 916PS-strong (903hp) hybrid powertrain would have no problem spanking a Nissan GT-R in a straight-line race?
Well, actually, there’s no straight answer on that, as besides the driver, a lot depends on the model year version and edition of Nissan’s supercar killer, as well as if it’s a stock or a heavily tuned GT-R (remember the 1,700hp+ Nissan GT-R Goliath from Switzer?).
For what it’s worth, the author of the video mentions that the GT-R was “modded” and that “the P1 [driver] did NOT floor it but still easily kept pace with the GTR”.
