If it seems that not a week goes by without BMW treating Japanese consumers with some sort of a limited edition, that’s because it was actually…seven days ago that the Bavarians released the Z4 sDrive 20i GT in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Now it’s the X1 compact crossover’s turn for a new special edition named Exclusive Sport of which only 160 examples will be made for Japan in sDrive20i rear-wheel drive and xDrive20i all-wheel drive variants, both powered by a 184PS (181hp) 2.0-liter turbo petrol matched to a standard 8-speed automatic.
The Exclusive Sport model incorporates the M Sport exterior, interior and handling packages adding satin aluminum roof rails and lower window trim, Nevada leather interior sport seats, rear view camera and the iDrive navigation package, among other extras.
You can pick any color you want as long as it’s White Alpine or the optional Black Sapphire metallic.
Prices start at 5,190,000 Yen (around $51,000) for the sDrive20i and 5,450,000 Yen ($53,600) for the xDrive20i.
