So while visually speaking the all new Opel / Vauxhall Astra Corsa looks like nothing more than a facelift, it’s actually got entirely new body panels, albeit ones that are riding along on a chassis that’s nearly identical to that of the previous incarnation.
WhatCar? explains that this has allowed the manufacturer to keep it exactly the same size as before; it is one of the five key things they think you should be aware of when it comes to the new Corsa.
The car’s profile looks nearly identical to that of the old car, and the updated front and rear lights don’t do enough to move its image along. It does win back some points on the inside, where the difference is far more noticeable. It looks like a slightly more grown up version of the Adam interior, and it comes with all the latest gadgets.
