Headlamp-obsessive Audi is almost done tinkering with the 2015MY A1 hatchback that will bow in front of the public at the Paris Motor Show in October. The car remains heavily camouflaged, but the appearance of the facelifted A1 is not much of a secret since Audi has already unveiled the 2015 S1 with the family’s restyled front and rear ends.
Seen here in five-door Sportback trim, the A1’s exterior gets a more chiseled front with a new grille featuring horizontal slabs, a redesigned bumper and, of course, re-shaped Xenon Plus headlamps, while at the back, you’ll find a fresh pair of LED rear lights with horizontally structured graphic and a modified rear bumper.
Nothing major is expected for the interior other than perhaps some new colors, trim options and equipment features, while under the hood, Audi will probably fine-tune the regular lineup to improve fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.
