It looks like Honda’s new Civic Tourer that went on sale across Europe at the end of 2013 will have a very short life span in its current form.
A little over a month after we nabbed the facelifted 2015 Civic hatchback out on the road, our spies caught a whiff of Honda’s engineers testing the station wagon model with a newly styled nose that’s identical to one on the five-door prototype.
The extensive disguise cannot hide the new front headlamps and the restyled bumper that houses a new split grille and different air inlets. The 2015 Civic’s new face was previewed on the Civic Type R Concept.
It seems that the rear end of this Civic Tourer tester is unchanged compared to the current car, but we may see some minor tweaks, such as LED tail lamps and a revised bumper, making their way on the production car.
We should get our first official look at the facelifted Civic either in Paris this fall or in Geneva early next year.
