Did you know that it’s been almost five years since Toyota unveiled the third generation Sienna minivan in December of 2009 as a 2011MY? If you didn’t shrug your shoulders to show your indifference, you just might be interested to know that Toyota plans to release the updated 2015 Sienna this Thursday, July 17.
Toyota is as telling about the Sienna as a conversation with a circus mime, with the Japanese firm only releasing a screen shot of a kid inside the minivan on its social media pages with the following captions: “Let the countdown to the unexpected begin,” and “It’s just 3 days away. Are you ready to take an unexpected journey with the 2015 Toyota Sienna?”
We’ll just have to wait to find out if it will be a real mid-cycle facelift with cosmetic and mechanical updates or simply a new model year with differentiated equipment.
