The thing with potholes is that, while nobody likes driving through them on the road, sometimes, the alternative is much worse and you and your ride just have to take the hit.
If you view this dash-cam video from Eastern Russia from the beginning, you’ll see that the driver patiently drove through pothole after pothole (it must have been a similar road to this one) for miles on end.
Then, for some inexplicable reason, the motorist does a sudden movement and as a result, loses control of the car, smashing into a vehicle coming from the opposite side! Beats a broken rim, right…
