It’s not easy to pic one of the world’s many twisted, hairpin-ridden mountain roads and call it the best driving.
All these roads have pros and cons and them being good for driving also partly relies on personal preference and the car you choose to bring for the job. EVO magazine took a Porsche Boxster GTS to the island of Mallorca, where it was used as a means to show off the roads.
The Porsche seems suitable for the (quite treacherous-looking) stretches of windy mountain asphalt, being highly controllable, not excessively powerful and pumping out an intoxicating six-pot noise out the back.
The drive is part of EVO’s quest to find the world’s best driving road. Their previous stop was the Transfăgărășan road, in Romania, at the wheel of a Jaguar F-Type.
Which of the two roads do you think was better so far?
