Boasting styling revisions and enhanced EU6-compliant engines, the revised 2015 Audi A7, S7 and RS7 will go on sale in the UK with prices ranging from £45,875 to £84,480 OTR.
The first examples of the regular A7 and the sportier S7 are expected to arrive in the hands of customers in the last quarter of 2014, with the RS7 to land in showrooms early next year.
Interior and exterior revisions include a reshaped grille, new LED headlights and taillights, revamped bumpers, a fresh choice of colors and decors, upgraded cabin materials, and improved infotainment systems.
Under the hood, Audi has introduced a new, front-wheel drive 215bhp (218PS) 3.0-liter TDI Ultra diesel version capable of returning up to 60.1mpg UK with CO2 emissions as low as 122g/km. The Ultra model swaps the multitronic CVT for a new S tronic twin-clutch transmission.
The other available powertrains for the A7 are the 215bhp (218PS) 3.0 TDI quattro, the 268bhp (272PS) 3.0 TDI quattro, and the 316bhp (320PS) 3.0 BiTDI quattro.
Regular A7’s are offered in three trim levels, SE Executive, S line and Black Edition. For the first time, S line customers can drop the tauter sports suspension in favour of the comfort suspension and replace the 20-inch wheels for 19-inch units – obviously at no cost.
Performance-orientated buyers can go for the S7 that features an upgraded 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine that gains 30bhp for a total of 444bhp (450PS), while at the same time, benefitting from a 4 percent or 10g/km reduction in CO2 output to 215g/km (avg. consumption: 30.4mpg UK).
For more power, you’ll have to look at the RS7, which still has 552bhp (560PS), but thanks to some tweaking, the bi-turbocharged V8 returns better fuel (29.7mpg UK combined) and CO2 emissions (221g/km).
