There are plenty of goods coming from Seat and its hot Leon Cupra 280, as the Spanish carmaker released pricing for three new packages for the UK market.
First up is the ‘Sub8 Performance Pack’ that refers to the Leon Cupra 280’s Nürburgring lap time of 7:58.44, with which it was crowned the fastest front-wheel drive hatch on the Nordschleife for about six weeks, until Renault re-clinched the title with an even better 7:54.36 time.
The new optional package is priced at £2,025 and includes 19-inch alloy wheels in either black or orange, body-coloured side skirts and 30mm larger brake discs at 370mm with Brembo four piston callipers. You can complete the ‘Ring car setup with the semi-slick Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres priced at £460.
Also available for order are two new exterior packages, the Black-Line and White-Line for £500, which paint the 19-inch alloy wheels, door mirrors, CUPRA tailgate lettering and front grille surround in either hue. A similar Orange-Line package will be released in December.
Finally, Seat has added new front bucket seats on the Leon Cupra’s option list. Priced at £1,250, they come with a one-piece head restraint and are clad in black Alcantara with ‘simil’ leather bolsters and white accents. With this option, Seat will also throw in the Winter Pack with heated front seats and headlight washer system with heated front washer nozzles for free.
