While some markets begin to get the all-new Nissan Frontier (as the 2015 Navara), here in the US, the current version soldiers on as a 2015MY that brings some equipment and color updates.
These include the addition of a standard Moonroof on the SL Long Wheelbase models, the NissanConnectSM with Navigation and Mobile Apps on PRO-4X trims and the NissanConnectSM with Mobile Apps and 5.0-inch color display on the Frontier SV and Desert Runner grades. Nissan has also introduced a new exterior color named Arctic Blue.
Nothing else changes with the 2015 Frontier offered with a choice of two engines, a 152hp 2.5-liter inline four (King Cab only) and a 261hp 4.0-liter V6, along with King Cab and Crew Cab body styles in 4×2 and 4×4 driveline configurations.
Pricing also remains the same and starts at $17,990 USD (plus $860 destination) for the Frontier S King Cab 4×2 I4 5MT.
Together with the Frontier, Nissan also detailed the related 2015 Xterra SUV which gains a new SolarFlare Yello exterior color and added equipment for the S grade, including a NissanConnectSM with Mobile Apps and a 5.0-inch color audio display.
All Xterra models are powered by a standard 261hp 4.0-liter V6 connected to either a 6-speed manual (S 4×4 and PRO-4X 4×4 only) or a 5-speed automatic in both AWD and RWD layouts. Prices start from $23,660 excluding destination ($860).
