It’s been raining positive reviews all round for the new Porsche Macan SUV. Everybody is calling it ‘the most sports car-like SUV that you can buy,’ and no matter where you’re from, there’s already a waiting list if you want one.
Consumer Reports purchased one of their own, and as you’d imagine they strengthened the general consensus, though a few problems were pointed out, most important of which being the slight lack of rear legroom.
Another negative point is the lack of all-round visibility, as it’s impaired by thick pillars (particularly at the back) and windows that aren’t all that big.
Even so, its sharp handling and styling, plus the excellently crafted interior will seal the deal for most. CR suggests that it may quickly end up being Porsche’s best selling model.
