It’s not hard to imagine what the Brabus version of the all-new Smart ForTwo will be like, given that we’ve seen the spyshots and we know what modifications the previous Brabus had.
This rendering by RM Design unequivocally shows the upcoming hot two-door Smart. It features the trademark twin central tailpipes, as seen on the camouflaged prototype (and its predecessor), trademark Brabus wheels and subtle badging.
It’s really not bad, especially since it may turn out to be more of a driver’s car than the previous model which was always plagued by huge understeer, a dodgy gearbox and wasn’t really all that fun to drive.
This new one, with its manual gearbox and more powerful engines stands a good chance of righting that wrong, but we won’t jump to conclusions before the actual car comes out and gets tested.
Hopefully, there will be more than one version, because we want to see the mad, tire-smoking ones…
