Jaguar Land Rover announced today a slew of cars its showing off August 14 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California.
In its continued attempt to offer more performance to its lineup, Land Rover will show off the production version of the Range Rover Sport SVR next week, the SUV that set a blistering time on the Nürburgring to become the fastest production SUV.
The SVR is a 550-horsepower version of the Range Rover Sport, the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 out of the Jaguar F-Type R inserted in the SUV to do battle with the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and other ridiculously big and powerful “off-road” vehicles. It’s been created through Jaguar Land Rover’s new Special Operations division.
The division’s other recent creation, the Jaguar F-Type Project 7, will also be at Pebble Beach for its U.S. debut, so people can see what six lucky customers will be getting.
The Range Rover Sport SVR, on the other hand, should be more widely available when it goes on sale next year.
