You or someone you know probably has a Honda Accord, since it’s one of the best-selling cars in the U.S. Now would be a good time to suggest an anti-theft device.
The National Insurance Crime Bureau has ranked the most stolen cars of 2013, and the Accord tops the list with 53,995 reported thefts. Looking at state-by-state figures, it’s the 1996 Accord that looks popular among car thieves.
The Accord’s little brother, the Honda Civic, lands in the number two spot with about 45,000 thefts. Full-size pickups from Chevrolet and Ford are third and fourth on the list, respectively, and the Toyota Camry comes in fifth.
