After the Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Black and Carbon White editions released at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the Vanquish gets a similar treatment for the Paris Auto Show.
No official details have been offered yet, except a teaser video which shows that the Carbon Edition treatment is applied both to the Vanquish coupe and the convertible. Furthermore, Carbon Edition models are only available in black or white paint.
As with the DB9, the Vanquish gets a series of carbon fiber elements including the mirror caps, rear diffuser and interior trim, among other things. Nothing should change under the hood, with the Vanquish Carbon Edition expected to feature the same 568hp 6.0-liter V12 engine from the standard model.
As a result, expect a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 201 mph (323 km/h). More details should be offered in the following weeks, as we approach the Paris Auto Show’s press days (October 2-3).
