A new Audi concept is set to make its debut at the Los Angeles motor show this November. Apparently, it will preview the new A9 model, as well as the brand’s future styling direction.
Highlights, according to Autocar which quotes an inside source, include a new interpretation of the trademark grille, laser headlights as well as an aluminum body structure.
Apparently, “It builds on the design in place today but takes it to a whole new level. The design department is working very closely with the production department to give future Audi models a more technical look with added accuracy in terms of build – in keeping with their engineering.”
The A9 is supposed to be a four- (or two-?) door coupe in the vein of the A7, but bigger, posher and more exclusive; a Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe rival. Previous reports suggest it will be added to the Audi range in 2016/2017.
