The Stepway variants of the Dacia Lodgy and Dokker are not the only exhibits of the Romanian brand’s Paris Auto Show booth, with the Duster and Sandero getting limited-edition models for the occasion.
Debuting in the French market, the Dacia Sandero Black Touch and Duster Air (called Blackstorm on other markets) are two limited-edition models that bring more style and equipment upgrades.
Based on the range-topping Lauréate grade, the Dacia Sandero Black Touch can be ordered in metallic Comète Grey, along with a choice of seven other finishes. The limited-edition Sandero rides on new 15-inch alloy wheels and features design details such as pearlescent black door mirror housings and B-pillar trims.
Inside, the Sandero Black Touch features pearlescent black appointments including the central fascia surround, steering wheel trim and door grab handles which contrast with the chrome door handles. Standard equipment includes the MEDIA NAV multimedia and navigation system with touch screen display, as well as cruise control with speed limiter and climate control. The Sandero Black Touch is offered with a choice of three engines, two petrol (TCe 90 and 1.2 16V 75) and one diesel (dCi 90).
The second limited-edition model is the Dacia Duster Air, which takes inspiration from the world of aviation. Based on the Lauréate version, the model can be specified in one of four finishes: Platine Grey, Pearlescent Black, Comète Grey and Glacier White.
The Duster Air features Imperial Yellow door mirror housings and “altimeter” graphic on the boot, body sides and tailgate. Other styling tweaks are the 16-inch Dark Metal alloy wheels, satin-finish chrome-effect sills and front/rear skid plates, extra-tinted rear glass and chrome exhaust tail pipe.
The cabin features exclusive upholstery complete with embroidered motifs and visible stitching, as well as a number of black highlights for items like the central fascia surround, door grab handles and steering wheel trim. The “altimeter” graphic is carried over to the seat backs and is also used for the steering wheel trim motif, with textile carpet mats completing the interior changes. The Duster Air is offered with two engines, a TCe 125 petrol (only for two-wheel drive version) and a dCi 110 diesel, available with both two- and four-wheel drive.
Order books for the two limited-edition cars will open across Dacia’s French sales network on October 2, with prices starting from €10,450 for the Sandero Black Touch and €16,200 for the Duster Air.
