DMC’s recent Porsche Cayenne tune seems to have opened the brand’s appetite for SUVs and now they’re developing a program for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

Teased here in G500 form (sold as the G550 in North America), the DMC G EXTREM almost doubles the factory performance of the 5.5-liter V8, pushing output from 387PS (382hp) to 700PS (691hp).

The G EXTREM shows it means business on the outside with extended wheel arches, bumpers and matching rocker panels from the AMG models, a dry carbon vented hood, a roof wing, and a choice of 23- to 25-inch alloy wheels shod in Pirelli P-Zero rubber (dimensions start from 305/30/23).

The German tuning specialist says it will also offer individualized interiors that “can be tailor made to meet the exclusive clientele’s demands”.

Further details on DMC’s G EXTREM program will be announced later in the year.
