Here’s a classic duel between car and motorcycle with EVO placing the Jaguar F-Type V6 S against the Triumph Street Triple R.
Powered by a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine producing 375 hp, the F-Type V6 S is a lot more powerful than the Triumph Street Triple R, which has 105 hp from a 675-cc engine.
However, while the Jag weighs over 1,600 kg (3,527 lbs), the Triumph tips the scales at just 182 kg (401 lbs), plus the rider. Both vehicles are rear-wheel drive, but that’s about the only similarity between them.
Each vehicle took a flying lap of the Blyton Park circuit, with EVO’s Jethro Bovingdon behind the wheel of the Jaguar and experienced rider Bruce Dunn on the Triumph. The race was closer than one would think, so scroll down to see who won.
