Swedish supercar-maker Koenigsegg was involved in an unfortunate accident today when one of its Agera R-based test mules reportedly smashed into the barriers.
“Both the driver and passenger were taken to hospital and from what we heard, the driver was the one hurt the most,” our man on the ground told us adding that the pictures of the Agera R mule running on the Nordschleife were shot only a minute or two before the crash.
The condition of the two test drivers remains unknown at this time, but we’re all praying for the best.
The Agera-R development car was being tested today at the ‘Ring alongside the One:1.
This is the second manufacturer-related incident on the Nürburgring that we’ve heard about in the past few weeks., following a 2016 Honda NSX that was burned to the ground.
