You can wait for BMW’s mystery M4 track-prototype to come to life or you can turn to tuners like Germany’s Lightweight for a more hardcore version of the coupe.
For €16,800 (US$21,600 or GBP 13,200), Lightweight will grace your M4 with a new titanium exhaust system which together with some upgrades to the twin-turbo six, lift output from 431PS (425hp) and 550Nm (406 lb-ft) to 520PS (513hp) and 650Nm (479 lb-ft)
The package also includes a beefier brake system, Bilstein Clubsport suspension, 19-inch BBS alloy wheels in Michelin PilotSportCup2 tires size 265/35 front and 285/35 rear, carbon fiber front spoiler blade and a carbon fiber adjustable rear wing.
Lightweight says it’s currently developing a Club Sport package that will make the M4 lighter, possibly due to the removal of the rear seats, as it will include a set of bucket seats with six point safety belts on the front and a racing safety cage, along with an enclosed underbody for improved aerodynamics.
