At the London Design Week (September 18-21), MG is showcasing an MG3 Personalization Design Concept designed in UK by young British female designer, Louise Thorburn.

Thorburn works as Color and Materials designer at MG, a role created as part of the company’s growing investment in UK design talent acquisition and facilities.

MG didn’t say much about the MG3 Personalization Design Concept, but from what we can see in the photos the car features black and white graphics all over the bodywork and a bi-color paint job. The front half of the car has a white paint (including the alloy wheels), while the rest is painted in a shade of grey. Other striking modifications are the black-painted A-pillars and grey-painted lower part of the grille.

Besides the study, MG has announced a new collection of MG3 personalization graphics, named the Autumn Additions Collection, which will join the existing range of more than one million options currently available in the MG3 range.

MG says that over 40 percent of orders placed since the supermini’s launch last year have featured at least one specified design addition.
