Try saying no to this Audi 5000 CS Quattro Avant, from 1986. It’s got a 2.2-liter turbocharged engine, a manual gearbox, all-wheel drive, standard locking diffs and is reportedly extremely frugal.
It may not be everybody’s visual cup of tea, but the sheer amount of coolness per square inch it exudes far exceeds that of modern cars – it really is a classic.
To make maters more unique, it’s reportedly the only one of its kind and in this condition with a manual gearbox in Canada – the car is for sale in Ottawa, Ontario for $4,000 which we assume is US.
The current owner (only the second one it’s ever had) said it was professionally restored back in 2010, when it got repainted in its original color, got new springs and suspension, a new headliner, new gas tank, new oil cooler and lines, new radiator, new alternator, new brakes, a new exhaust and a new clutch linkage.
It even comes with a full service history and is completely stock with no silly value-detracting upgrades.
