These are the first official photos of Citroen’s new Divine DS Concept car scheduled for a world premiere at next month’s Paris Auto Show.
While similar in length to the current DS4 at 4,210mm, the Divine DS is much wider (+170mm) at 1,980mm and much lower (-180mm) at 1,350mm. And that’s not the only difference, as while the DS4 is a high-riding hatchback with crossover references, the concept has a low slung, sporty design with a rear styling that reminds of the Alfa Romeo Brera or even the Chrysler Crossfire, as mentioned in the report from Largus, which first posted the pictures.
The interior is pure French-fantasy with intertwined bronze and black tones.
Power is said to come from a 270PS (266hp) 1.6-liter turbocharged four, probably sourced from the Peugeot RCZ-R.
The concept is believed to preview Citroen DS’s next design language and possibly even an actual compact model for the near future.
Merci for the tip Ludovic!
