Here’s one more review of the new V8-powered Ford Mustang GT.
The reviewer from AutoGuide is right: it would not be appropriate to call the new Ford Mustang a pony or muscle car, since with the latest version it’s actually trying to distance itself from that perception. A more accurate way to describe it would be to call it a sports car, which they say it really is now.
In reviewing the v8-powered GT model, they discover that it’s not only a great handling machine, but it’s also one with bags more refinement and a much higher level of quality than before.
The interior is where you’ll most notably see this upped quality, but it is present throughout in the details – the sequential rear indicators are a real highlight and show attention to detail that was not present in the old model.
It’s difficult not to crave a new Mustang, any Mustang, even the newfangled four-pot turbo, if only to see what it’s like and have a conversation starter to annoy those who only see it drawing power from a six- or eight-cylinder.
