It was only a matter of time before the tuning minds at Novitec Tridente got their hands on the new generation of the Maserati Quattroporte.
The German tuning outfit has prepared a little something for all three available engines starting with the European-market 3.0-liter V6 diesel that’s pushed up from 271hp (275PS) and 600Nm to 318hp (322PS) and 680Nm, allowing for a 0-100km/h (62mph) time of 5.7 seconds.
Through the use of the firm’s TRONIC auxiliary control unit (ECU), the Quattroporte S with the 3.0-liter turbo V6 petrol in RWD and AWD layouts jump from 404hp (410PS) and 550Nm to 469hp (476PS) and 640Nm, with the all-wheel drive Q4 completing the standard sprint to 100km/h (62mph) in 4.5 sec.
At the top of the power ladder is the Quattroporte GTS with its 3.8-liter turbocharged V8 petrol benefitting from a 74hp / 75PS and 110Nm of peak torque boost for a total of 597hp (605PS) and 820Nm, which shoots the sport sedan to 100km/h in 4.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 318km/h or 198mph.
Once buyers are done with the engine tune, they can take a look at Novitec’s other upgrades that include an €3,120 body kit with a two-piece front spoiler, rocker panels, and a boot lid spoiler, all made from clear-coated carbon fiber.
Last, but not least, Novitec offers 22-inch one-piece alloy wheels in various colors with prices starting at €3,980, mounted on tires size 255/30 ZR22 up front and 315/25 ZR22 at the back, plus an adjustable sports suspension for RWD models and a 35mm lowered sports suspension for the Q4 all-wheel drive sedans.
