If you’re the kind of person who likes their coupe to be more flashy than lightning-quick, then perhaps you’d be interested in the Renault Megane Coupe Ultimate. It’s a version of the familiar three-door just announced by the manufacturer.
It comes with lots of kit, unique styling cues (borrowed from the warm Megane GT line), a choice of two engines and a pricing scheme that makes buying one over a regular variant worthwhile, especially if you were going to spec your up to a high level.
The Ultimate is available either with a TCE130 petrol engine or a dCI 130 diesel mill. Of the two, the diesel is obviously the dearer by quite a margin: it costs €29,050, while the petrol is a more reasonable €25,700 (French market pricing).
Standard features include, aside from the previously mentioned unique styling touches (and GT badges), a fixed-glass sunroof, Renault R-Link multimedia system, leather upholstery and heated front seats.
