After capturing several prototypes of Hyundai’s upcoming i40 Wagon facelift, our spies finally spotted testers of the sedan model.
The car seen testing in our spy shots confirms there are notable styling changes to the front end with new headlamps, bumper and a fancier, full-height grille design in the mold of the latest Genesis sedan.
It’s hard to tell exactly what’s going on at the rear, but the placement of the camouflage suggests we’ll see newly styled light clusters and a revised bumper. The i40’s profile will remain unchanged, sans the new alloy wheels.
As with the facelifted i30 that we also spied during the summer months testing in Europe, the i40 is believed to get an updated interior with a new infotainment system.
Expect to see the refreshed i40 in European showrooms next year.
