So, you want more of the new Mercedes-AMG GT? We’ve got you covered with the most comprehensive gallery yet and if that’s not enough, a fresh batch of videos as well.

If you don’t mind staying around for a bit before you gorge yourself on the material we prepared for you below, here are some random thoughts on the AMG GT, beginning with the fact that it has to be one the most priapic European offerings since the time of the Jaguar E-Type.

If you manage to close yours ears and eyes on all the talk about how the AMG GT’s buttocks and rear quarter profile bear a resemblance to the Porsche 911/928, Jaguar F-Type, [insert another model here], the raised buttocks look pretty nice.

Moving away from the exterior, did anyone notice just how big the center console is, especially the lower portion between the seats, and how it dominates the cabin? I’m sure by now you’ve read that the AMG Drive Unit controls on the center stack are arranged like eight cylinders in a V layout.

And one last thing; it might be turbocharged, but from the video footage at least, the 4.0-liter lump has that mannish sound we’ve come to expect from AMG’s V8s. In the case of the higher-powered  GT S, there’s also a standard performance exhaust system with fully variable exhaust flaps controlled through a dedicated button on the AMG Drive Unit.
