BeamNG is not the only new indie driving game that tries to steer away from stale old clichés and tries to go its own way. So far, its developers have concentrated solely on making the physics engine produce realistic vehicle behavior and crash damage, before proceeding to try and find something to do with it all…
It’s still available for download on Steam and users can opt to either run the ‘stable’ branch, which is more bug-free, or go down the ‘experimental’ route and gain access to the latest content and features, even if it doesn’t always work as intended – it has more stuff but also more bugs.
Development work is still carried out at quite some pace, and the game is visibly improving. If this is the first time you’ve seen it since we last featured it more than a year ago, then you will notice what’s new and/or different.
