One cannot help but enjoy watching this seemingly unimpressive looking tractor do donuts and go really fast in a straight line, particularly because these vehicles are not known for being any good at either.
It was created by a company called Vianor, and it’s called Traktor Terror. The tractor itself is an old 1956 Volvo model that’s been fitted with a turbocharged and intercooled Volvo saloon engine tuned to make 225 hp. Apparently that’s enough to make it do the crazy things you see it doing in the video below, even if it may sound a bit weedy.
The driver can brake the big rear wheels individually, and have only one get full power – this leads to some crazy maneuvering that can (and does) land it on its side; good thing the Swedes are a safety conscious bunch and have fitted it with a roll cage.
