A single photo of Fiat’s brand-new 500X small crossover that will be presented in Paris in a couple of weeks has surfaced online.
The picture was shared on Quattroruote magazine’s forums and shows what is believed to be the production version of the car.
It’s the newest member of Fiat’s growing family of 500 models after the original 500 hatchback and 500L, both of which are offered in a multitude of versions ranging from the sporty 500 Abarth editions to the seven-seater 500L Living.
The 500X is a sister model to the Jeep Renegade with which it shares its underpinnings, and will serve as a replacement for the discontinued Sedici in the hot small SUV segment competing with cars such as the Honda HR-V, Renault Captur and Nissan Juke.
We expect Fiat to offer the 500X with a choice of diesel and petrol engines in both front- and all-wheel drive configurations.
