The Rolls-Royce Wraith is the brand’s fastest, most powerful production model ever made, but make no mistake, this isn’t a sports car.
Its twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 may produce 624 horsepower (633PS), but these are some of the best-mannered horses you can find. Like all Rolls-Royce vehicles, the Wraith’s power delivery is effortless, thanks to the monumental 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque.
Despite its weight of 2,360 kg (5,203 lbs), the Wraith sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds. But it’s what the acceleration feels like from inside the cabin that matters more than the numbers. It’s telling for the car’s character that the eight-speed ZF automatic transmission doesn’t have paddle shifters, so the driver can’t change gears.
Unsurprisingly, everything in the Wraith is focused on comfort and luxury, and in that respect, Alex Goy says it’s hard to find a better car. Head to the video to see what else the Wraith is about.
