Letting an artist paint one’s car is risky business, because one never knows if the result is going to look right and not turn the owner into a laughing stock.
That’s even riskier when we’re talking about a supercar, as obviously all eyes will be on the vehicle when it will roll down the street wearing a painting instead of actual spray paint.
Well, Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale took that chance and gave a Ferrari FF to French-born artist Duaiv to turn it into an art work on wheels – the fact that Duaiv has done similar work on an Aventador Roadster for Lamborghini Miami probably helped Duaiv’s case.
A classical musician and painter, Duaiv used his talent to adorn the Ferrari FF’s curvaceous body, using his paintings as inspiration. The result will probably not be to everyone’s liking, but I have to say it’s a really good-looking art car as far as I’m concerned. However, don’t get influenced by my opinion, as I don’t know anything about art.
Besides the colorful exterior, Duaiv has also added yellow accents in the FF’s cabin, including his name on the headrests. So, what do you think?
