Among the many refreshed models making their first public appearance at the Paris Motor Show is Audi’s 2015MY A6 family, including the S6, RS6 and Allroad variants.

It’s not your typical facelift with dramatic cosmetic revisions, as Audi kept the exterior tweaks limited to small changes to the grille, headlights, air inlets, bumpers, side sills, rear lights and tailpipe finishers.

The Germans also added new headlights with LED technology or Matrix LED technology, combined with dynamic turn signals, on the cars’ options list.

On the inside, besides the new colors, Audi updated its infotainment systems, with the top-of-the-line navigation unit with the power-retractable 8-inch monitor now running on the faster Tegra 30 graphics chip from Nvidia. Improvements were also made to a number of driver assistance systems.

Finally, Audi tweaked the engine range of the regular A6 models reducing CO2 emissions and fuel consumption on certain diesels, adding a new 3.0-liter TDI available with 218PS (215hp) or 272PS (268hp) and revising the 3.0 TFSI.

The 4.0-liter TFSI biturbo V8 in the performance S6 and RS6 models remains unchanged delivering 450PS (444hp) and 560PS (552hp) respectively.
