The not so-popular ActiveHybrid version of BMW’s 7-Series saloon has gained a limited production ‘Individual Edition’ for Japan.
Only 20 cars will be made, each offered at a starting price of 13,100,000 Yen (equal to $119,900 or €95,500) with first deliveries to start in December.
While nothing changes under the hood where the ActiveHybrid 7 pairs a 3.0-liter turbo’d six to an electric motor, BMW’s Individual department places its touch on the styling side of things.
The exterior can be had in Mineral White or BMW Individual’s Citrine Black paint with the car rolling on special 20-inch alloy wheels in tires size 245/40 on the front and 275/35 at the rear.
Buyers can also choose from two Merino leather interiors in Caramel or Platinum shades, with the Individual division adding special walnut satin wood and piano black trims, door sill plates, Alcantara roof lining, a wood-trimmed steering wheel, and a ceramic finish for the iDrive controller, air condition switches and transmission selector lever.
