Reports snatched a new Lexus RC F and took the +450hp sports coupe for a spin to see what it’s all about.
They found it to look the part on the outside with its “outrageous” styling, but they had a few niggles about the interior, mainly for its space and some cheap dashboard components that the tester said look out of place in a car costing north of $60,000.
Naturally, the conversation came to how it competes against the new 425hp BMW M4, widely considered as the benchmark in the category, with CR’s Ryan Pszczolkowski (try saying that twice) finding that, while the RC F has a great engine, it lacks in the handling department.
He concluded that the RC F is a great livable streetcar, but enthusiasts “looking for a more engaging and edgier experience” should go for the M4.
