While EVs are struggling to make a difference in the grand scheme of cars sales around the world, Norway is showing us that their large scale use is feasible. The northern European country is loving using electrics sales of which have really taken off.

The Nissan Leaf, a niche vehicle, in pretty much any market you can name, is actually Norway’s third-best selling car full stop. The Japanese automaker even put out a short promo video to crown the achievement showing how and where Leafs are being used and where the attraction stems from.

Everybody from grandmothers to state officials seem to be using it (and other electrics) now, and the trend doesn’t sound like its waning one bit.

Granted, this is a Nissan video meant to promote additional sales, so it’s not really a conclusive study, but it does show EV adoption can go at a faster pace than we may have been lead to believe.
