For Jeep and Ram, the utility-oriented brands of the Chrysler Group, Mopar will debut no less than six concepts at this year’s SEMA Show.
Special attention was given to the Jeep Renegade, which has received two interpretations, the Riptide and Frostbite. The former is a beach-vehicle painted in Vibrance Grandeur Blue embellished with a Light Blue base contrasting with the unique black painted wheels. The rear body sides of the car feature the Jeep Performance Parts logo, tweaked to incorporate a surfer in action.
Other styling upgrades are the satin black accents on the front grille, mirror caps and select areas of the front fascia. Inside, blue trim is combined with white accents.
The Jeep Renegade Frostbite reverses the color theme on the Riptide. Trimmed in white with blue accents on various exterior areas, the study features blue wheels with a white outline, as well as blue grille and mirror caps. The scheme continues inside with Katzkin pearl seats dressed in aqua blue. The SUV features a ski/snowboard roof rack and is also equipped with a Jeep Performance Parts rock rail guard with stamped Jeep logo.
Mopar will also present three familiar Jeep concepts, the Wrangler MOJO, Wrangler Maximum Performance and Cherokee Dakar, which have all debuted earlier this year at the Moab Easter Safari.
As for the Ram brand, Mopar will debut two concepts, the Ram 2500 Outdoorsman and ProMaster Hospitality Van. The 2500 Outdoorsman features a unique “Swamp Thing Green” color further disguised with distinct “camo” flourishes. A Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage pattern design is applied to the hood, roof and along the length of the lower body.
The truck features a camouflaged bed tent and rides on Mopar 17-inch eight-lug bead lock wheels designed for challenging terrains. A Mopar leveling kit and Bilstein shocks complete the changes.
The Ram ProMaster Hospitality Van showcases the versatility of the commercial vehicle, which was converted into a mobile lounge and equipped with refrigeration to serve cold beverages from a large swing-open side panel.
