Two new Jeep Wrangler models had their premiere today at the 2014 Paris Auto Show, one created as a study to promote Mopar and the other for regular consumption.

You can easily tell which one is which from the pictures – hint; the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon concept is the one you’d like to have.

It gets a 200hp 2.8-liter turbo diesel and is kitted out with original Mopar accessories such as off-road bumpers, a vented performance bonnet, raised suspension kit, LED light bar, and 17-inch rims on 37-inch tires.

The more subtle “X” special series will be available as a two-door Wrangler or a four-door Wrangler Unlimited with either a 284hp 3.6-liter petrol or a 200hp 2.8-liter turbo diesel.

Dressed in Jeep’s new Firecracker Red livery, it features an assortment of styling and equipment goods ranging from raised dual-intake engine bonnet and 18-inch alloy wheels to glossy black inserts for the grille and the brand’s infotainment system with GPS satellite navigation and a 6.5″ touchscreen.

It will go on sale in Europe during the first quarter of 2015.
