Do you think Kia’s target market for their new luxury car, the K900, is interested in wild tuning jobs and added dollops of performance?
Perhaps they are, perhaps they are not; it’s too early to tell for sure as the K900 is a brand new entry in Kia’s U.S. range that’s only been on the market for a few months now.
At the SEMA Show next month, the Koreans will test the waters with the High-Performance K900 concept car that sports a one-off body kit with carbon fiber inserts, a custom paint job, 21-inch blacked-out wheels and an undisclosed tuned under the hood.
The launch model has a 420hp 5.0-liter V8, so the SEMA project car should have plenty of power.
Kia also released as short statement that (sort of…) describes the idea behind the K900 concept:
“Exceptional performance and personalized style are prerequisites for the machine that carries a racing driver or team owner to and from the track on a daily basis, and the High-Performance K900 delivers both.”
