After announcing its new Black Crystal package for the Mercedes-Benz GL in the summer, Larte Design will reveal the tune in full at Germany’s Essen Motor Show next month.
We assume the Black Crystal name refers to the aero kit’s trim, because you can have it with any color you’d like, just as long as you’re comfortable with the $28,000 price tag that comes with it.
That’s for the edgy aero parts that include new bumpers, front fascia, LED daytime running lights from Nolden, carbon fiber inserts, side skirts, rear spoiler, 22-inch wheels and the four tailpipes at the back.
If you own the GL 350 CDI, the Russian tuner can also throw in an optional ECU software upgrade boosting the V6 diesel’s output from 258PS (255hp) to 290PS (286hp).
