Is it teenage boys trying to search for their dream car or casino moguls picking out their next ride? Maybe a little of both?
Direct Capital created maps of the most-Googled brands in the U.S. by state. Some are predictable, like Sam Adams being most-Googled in Massachusetts, or Disney in Florida.
But there are also plenty of car brands on the top-Googled list. Volvo is tops in New Hampshire, Ford wins in Michigan, Chevrolet gets North Dakota and Dodge in Montana. But notably, Ferrari takes Nevada.
Maranello must be so proud.
Cars also take up several spots in the second and third-most Googled rankings. Jeep is second in Utah, as is Honda in North Carolina, Buick in Michigan, Kia in West Virginia and Subaru in Vermont.
Oh, and Lamborghini is the third-most Googled brand in Nevada, so Ferrari can rub that in their faces.
