We’re waiting for the day that someone will shoehorn the M3’s straight-six or better yet, the older M5’s V10 behind the i8’s passenger compartment.
Would it make sense? Of course not, but come on, aren’t you the least bit curious to find out what a Mi8 or i8M would be like, even if it’s only a tuning job?
Will Manhart be the one to do it? We don’t know, as the German firm is being super-secret with its upcoming BMW i8 project that will be officially revealed at the Essen aftermarket motor show at the end of November.
We noticed the yellow accents, Manhart’s badges and the new alloy wheels on the digitally manipulated photos, but beyond that, we didn’t see anything else. We’ll keep an eye on this one and update you with any news we get.
